What is a Worship Warrior?
A Worship Warrior gives children a VOICE throughout school in particularly in religious education and our catholic life.
A Worship Warrior gives children a chance to make changes for the better in our school and the wider world.
Our Worship Warriors support our school in leading and living out our mission of "Guided by God we learn to love, hope dream and achieve."
Who is on the Worship Warrior?
Every year the pupils are represented to be a Worship Warriors. They are chosen because they are, sensible and reliable and can work as part of a team. They are also good organisers and listeners.
Worship Warrior aims are:
To meet regularly to discuss their views and be heard.
Be role models for our school mission and the catholic life.
Support leaders in collective worship preparation, prayers and RE displays.
What is the Worship Warrior involved in this year?
Each term, Worship Warriors plan for the priorities which they will focus on. Some of the things they do include:
Plan and lead Prayer and Liturgy
Support in assemblies
Say Prayers in worship
Lead and participate in Scripture focus groups
Plan sessions to deliver to younger children
Evaluate reflection areas
Share prayers with the children at play times
Plan how to improve the reflection and prayer areas within the school
