Safer Internet Day

Year 2 celebrated 'Safer Internet Day 2018' a day early this year, as we are away on our Delamere residential tomorrow! We watched the internet safety video from CEOP about a little boy called Lee and his sister Kim, as they find out some top tips for staying safe online. Following this, we wrote our own e-mails to remind the children of the top tips, so that they don't forget what they have learnt! We know how important it is to stay safe online, because strangers are strangers even if we can't see them face to face. We also talked about searching carefully and safely on Google, and clicking the X and telling a trusted adult if we see something we know isn't right.
