'Creepy Crawly Corner'
Today Nursery couldn't belive their eyes when they came into school. We had been taken over by creepy crawly bugs. The children spent lots of time investigating the new role play area.
Following on from our investigation time the children were excited to go on a hunt for real bugs in our own learning garden. During our hunt the children found leaves with holes in them. This promoted lots of discussion about who could have eaten the leaves. Following on from this we came back to the classroom and used the iPads to listen to the story 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' by Eric Carle.
On Tuesday the chidlren were so excited to discovery the 'Discovery Den' was up in our classroom. During our choose time the children took turns to visit and tick off the different Mini-Beasts they could find. 
During outdoor play we made our very own Bug Hotel. We can not wait to see what bugs move in. We will update you when we get some new residents.
