Class 6 - Mr McCabe 2019 - 2020
Information for home learning:
I have given everyone numerous tasks on My Maths, SPaG.com and Read Theory. All passwords have been provided – in the packs - but, for whatever reason, if one is misplaced, please contact me: email@example.com.
We will be using an online-classroom programme, Seesaw, which can be accessed at home. This is a website where, after the packs are completed, after 2 weeks, I will be able to assign more work. Once a task is completed, a picture of the work should be posted for me to give feedback – only I can post comments, for feedback, and all work posted is approved by me first.
Pupils have been given ‘text, home-learning codes’ to log on at home and parents have been given a QR code, used to access the online classroom, to monitor work also. I will post announcements on here too so please ensure your children log in every day and ‘like’ my announcements so I can see that they’ve been online.
Some pupils, who cannot access the internet, have been provided some activities to work through. However, Seesaw can be accessed by phone for future work so I am hopeful that all children can access this programme. Please, ensure activities are completed in the workbook and pictures of the work are posted on Seesaw for feedback.
Everyone has writing, Geography, Art and History to complete which is offline.
Below, is a suggested timetable:
9am-9.30 – Read Theory (for others: read a book and write a short review about it – you may also wish to complete some reading comprehension in your CGP book)
9.30-10.15 – History activity
10.15-11.15 – My Maths activity (offline activity for others)
11.15-11.30 – Have a break
11.30 – 12.30 – Writing activity
12.30 – 1.30 – Lunch
1.30 – 2.30 – Geography activity
2.30 – 3.00 – Any unfinished activities or, if finished, TT Rockstars.
If anyone has any questions or, if anything is unclear, please do not hesitate to contact me via the email above.

PE is every Wednesday afternoon so please ensure your child has their full PE kit with them.
Children will be given CGP revision text books daily which they will need to complete and return the following day. These books will also be completed in SATs club.
All pupils have been given reading diaries - they will need to read, at least, four times a week and have their diaries signed by an adult. They must bring their completed diaries to school, on Friday, to be checked.
