On behalf of everybody at St Gerard's I would like to extend to you a very warm welcome. I hope you find this website useful especially if you are a visitor or a new parent to tell you all about life at our school. We hope that your children will be happy at St Gerard's and that they develop academically, socially, spiritually and morally as well as enjoying and learning from the wonderful experiences and opportunities that we provide for them.
Our school is a place of learning within a loving and Christian community. We achieve this through our mission statement: "Guided by God, St Gerard's is an inspiring and aspirational community where we learn to love, hope, dream and achieve. All staff, children, governors and parents contribute to school life and share in its growth and well being.
This website contains lots of information about us; our policies, our vision, and the life of our school. If there is anything else you would like to know please contact us.

St Gerard's Catholic Primary and Nursery School had an OFSTED Inspection on Tuesday 18 September 2018.
The inspector’s opinion of St Gerard’s was “This school continues to be good. The leadership team has maintained the good quality of education in the school since the last inspection.
Based on the evidence gathered during this short inspection, I am of the opinion that the school has demonstrated strong practice and marked improvement in specific areas. This may indicate that the school has improved significantly overall. Therefore, I am recommending that the school’s next inspection be a section 5 inspection.”
We are extremely pleased and proud of the report and celebrates the hard work, commitment and dedication the staff and the governors of the school give to St Gerard’s in order to ensure that the school provides an excellent and inspiring education to your children.
Well done St Gerard’s community!
