Police Visit - February 2019

Date: 25th Feb 2019 @ 10:35am

'The Police Visit!’

This morning Nursery had a special visitor. The children were excited to meet Andy and look at the police car - we took turns to sit in the drivers seat and put on the blue flashing lights!

Following on from our visit from Andy the children were shocked to hear that Freddie the Teddy had gone missing. We made a poster together during group time and put them up all over the school.

After browsing the school we couldn't find him so we decided to make maps to help track him down. The children used language such as; next to, on top of, underneath to describe the possible position of Freddie.

After using our maps, the children still can not find Freddy! We are now starting to worry! Hopefully our police officers will help us?

Feeling inspired by Hywel Roberts (Education Practitioner) we set off on a journey to find Freddie the Teddy. The children helped pack a bag and we set off by torch light to find him.
