We are Growing

‘Growing’

Today we started looking at 'Growing'. Following on from the children's interests last week we have decided to develop a garden centre role play area and plan opportunities for the children to plant outside - this is to develop gross/fine motor skills. This week we are going to be focusing on planting and talking about changes in the outdoor environment. During outdoor play the children will be encouraged to look after their plants and water them everyday. 

During story time the chidlren will be listening to a range of stories about 'growing' and also listening to the Easter Story. To make this topic more personal we shall be looking at the children's baby pictures and trying to guess who is who.
