Date: 25th Jun 2018 @ 7:11pm

'What is the weather today?...'

This week we are busy exploring the weather and all of the different elements that come with it. As the temperatures are due to hit 30 degrees the children are thinking about suitbale clothing to wear and sun safety. During our adult directed learning time we will looking at dressing Winston (The Class Bear) with appropriate clothing for that day.

During our painting time we will be making lots of wonderful paintings linked to the weather. The children have already started painting rainbows and different clouds - how great are these?

Whilst using the SmartBoard we have been playing games to dress leaky in the appropriate clothes. The children had brilliant suggestions about which shoes were the best and why.

On a Wednesday we took our phonics lesson outside and used water to practice writing our letters. The children were mesmerised by the water disappearing!
